random funny stuff

I am always amused by translations in the tourist areas. There have been so so many good ones. I wish I'd had my camera for the signs for 'SANDWICHES AND BUGGERS' and a 'SHELF HELP GROUP' (to mention just a couple).

I managed to hold myself back from any 'romping' around the extremely quiet and reflective war memorial garden.... (?!?)

And menus are always funny. (Not that the fine dining establishments we have here in Vinh Dien have any menus - hence the very experimental eating for the first couple of months....)

 

But it's reassuring to know that I can always trust my absolutely accurate Vietnamese phrasebook should I ever get into any......
